A breathing air compressor quotation is only as useful as the information used to prepare it. A short request for a “high pressure compressor” can leave major questions unanswered: which cylinders will be filled, what pressure is required, how often will the system run, what power is available and what air-quality process applies? This RFQ template turns those questions into a concise specification that suppliers can use to propose comparable equipment.

Why an RFQ template is better than a model-only enquiry

A model number can be a helpful starting point, but it does not define the operating conditions. Two facilities can require the same final pressure yet need different output, mobility, filtration, filling accessories and service support. A structured RFQ gives suppliers the evidence they need to recommend the correct platform and helps the buyer compare what is included in each response.

1. Define the application and the cylinders

State the intended application: diving, SCBA, marine, industrial, project work or another clearly defined use.
